Call It Courage (television) Television show; based on the book by Armstrong Sperry, aired on April 1, 1973. Directed by Roy Edward Disney. Filmed on Tahiti and Bora Bora, the story of a native boy, Mafatu, who, with his dog, tries to prove himself a man by setting sail in a small outrigger canoe. He is capsized in a storm and has to survive by his wits on an island inhabited by a fierce tribe. Stars Evan Temarii.
