Tatooine may have two suns, but Hollywood has all the stars—and Disney Legend Mark Hamill is about to receive his very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, today at 11:30 a.m. PT. Two of Hamill’s friends from a galaxy far, far away, Harrison Ford and George Lucas, will be in attendance at the ceremony, which will highlight Hamill’s amazing career, along with his impact on the Star Wars universe (spanning five movies) as Luke Skywalker.
In honor of the special event and the upcoming release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi on Digital and Movies Anywhere March 13 and on Blu-ray March 27, today has been declared “Jedi Day.” Throughout the day, all Star Wars fans—younglings and Jedi Masters alike—are encouraged to congratulate Hamill on all social platforms, using a combination of #JediDay, #TheLastJedi, and, of course, your own creativity.
