The name “D23” pays homage to the exciting journey that began in 1923 when Walt Disney opened his first studio in Hollywood. D23 is the first official club for fans in Disney’s over 100-year history. Made by fans, for fans, D23 provides more of what you love, whether that be timeless Disney classics, heart-touching Pixar stories, heroic Marvel blockbusters, the epic world of Star Wars, or all of the above. If you’re passionate about the parks, captivated by the characters, or the ultimate collector, D23 is your community and all-access pass to everything Disney. D23 is THE place to share your love of Disney – it’s where Disney fans belong.
The “D” stands for Disney, and “23” represents 1923, the year that Walt Disney arrived in California and founded what was to ultimately become The Walt Disney Company.
D23 2025 MEMBERSHIP TIERS
Beginning January 1, 2025, D23 will offer three Gold Membership plans that will provide more flexibility and choice.
Each Gold Membership plan will include an exclusive D23 Gold Membership Kit—complete with a membership certificate and card, a D23 Gold Savings Passport, a collectible Stitch pin, a Goofy and Max car magnet, and a special D23 Disney Lorcana trading card featuring Iago from the Disney classic Aladdin (1992); plus, beginning with the Spring 2025 issue, the Disney twenty-three publication will now come in a visually stunning digital and interactive version. All of these benefits will be available as part of the Gold Member Essential Plan offered at$49.99 per year.
The Gold Member Choice Plan, offered at $99.99 per year, provides fans with everything in the Essential Plan, plus one of four new D23 Gold Member Exclusive Premium Items to be selected by the Member:
- One-of-a-kind, fashionable D23 Gold Member Spirit Jersey;
- Limited-release collectible D23 Gold Member Pin Box Set featuring 11 pins with original character designs;
- D23 Gold Member Fan Pack complete with a D23 Gold Member-embroidered crossbody bag, water bottle, and chino twill cap;

The Gold Complete Plan includes everything in the Essential Plan and all four D23 Gold Member Premium Items for the price of $299.99 per year.
D23 Gold Member entitlements are the same no matter which plan you choose. The three Gold Membership plans let you choose what membership premiums you receive from D23 only.
Included in our D23 Gold Membership Kit, the D23 Gold Savings Passport will be offers and discounts from a wide array of Disney and Friends of Disney–this magical package will be available to all D23 Gold Membership Plans.

BECOMING A D23 MEMBER

There are two (2) tiers of D23 Membership: Gold and General. Gold Membership plans provide the most benefits and are available for an annual membership fee. Gold Membership has three (3) plan options: the Gold Member Essential Plan, the Gold Member Choice Plan, and the Gold Member Complete Plan. General Membership is complimentary.
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase an individual D23 Gold Membership for yourself or as a gift for another person (who must also be at least 18 years old), and to purchase any other D23 goods or services. Each individual is allowed only one membership.
Yes! Guests with a shipping address outside of the United States can join, upgrade, and/or continue their D23 membership.
Yes. An email confirmation will be sent to the email address entered when you completed your transaction.
Yes! Starting January 2025, please visit the Membership Information page and select the “Gift” membership option. Only Gold Membership plans are available as gifts. D23 Gift Membership recipients will receive instructions on how to register for access to D23.com. D23 Gift Memberships cannot be purchased or shipped internationally.
GENERAL MEMBERSHIP
General Membership is complimentary; however, you do not receive the benefits of Gold Membership including a Membership Kit, membership premiums, discounts and offers, access to exclusive events, or any of the other benefits that Gold Members receive. You will still need to complete your sign-up process on D23.com, but no credit card is required.
Yes, you can upgrade at any time. Refer to the “Membership Upgrade” section for instructions on how to upgrade.

If you have a D23 Gold Membership Duo Plan, there are several important changes to consider regarding the future of your Membership starting in 2025:
Beginning January 1, 2025, D23 Gold Membership Duo Plans will no longer be available for purchase or renewal. If you currently hold a D23 Gold Membership Duo Plan purchased or renewed in the 2024 calendar year—including both individual and affiliate memberships—you will continue to enjoy the benefits of the membership for the full duration of your Membership. The entire year of benefits, including access to exclusive events and special offers, will be honored through the expiration of your current membership.
Once your current D23 Gold Membership Duo Plan expires, you will need to make a decision regarding your membership renewal.
- If no changes are made or if you do not cancel your membership by the end of your current term, your Membership will automatically convert to a D23 Gold Choice Membership Plan. This renewal plan allows you to maintain many of the key benefits of the Gold Membership but under a revised structure.
- Additionally, for all D23 Gold Membership Duo Plans purchased or renewed in the 2024 calendar year, please note that any affiliate memberships included in your plan will come to an end at the same time as the primary Membership's expiration date. This means that the benefits associated with the Affiliate Membership will no longer be available once your D23 Gold Membership Duo Plan expires.
D23 Gold Members under an Affiliate Membership can select one of the new Gold plan options to continue their D23 Gold Membership.
Members are limited to a single membership per calendar year.

CHARTER MEMBERSHIP
D23 Charter Members are Disney Fans who joined D23 as D23 Gold Members when it was first established in 2009 and have remained Gold Members to date.
No. If you let your D23 Gold Membership lapse and wish to become a D23 Gold Member at a later date, the lapse in Gold Membership will cause you to lose Charter Member status.
No. In order to maintain Charter status, you have to remain a D23 Gold Member with no lapses in Gold Member status.

For D23 Gold Members in the United States, D23 will automatically charge the annual membership fee to the payment method provided until you cancel. Ensure the payment method is the one you would like to use for your Membership renewal by following the steps below:
Step 1:
Sign in to your Disney Account on D23.com.
Step 2:
Select “My Profile” from the Membership dropdown to access your Account information.
Step 3:
Verify that the payment method in the “Payment Information” section is the one you would like to use for your membership renewal. If no payment method is attached to your membership, please add a credit card.
Step 4:
Verify that the shipping address is where you would like your D23 Gold Membership offerings delivered. If no delivery address is attached to your membership, please add a new U.S. address.
Yes, your membership number and “member since” date will remain the same upon changing your membership level or downgrading to a D23 General Membership.
If you are a member with a shipping address outside of the United States, your D23 Gold Membership plan will need to be manually renewed each year, starting in the last 30 days of your membership year by following these simple steps:

Step 2:
Select “My Profile” from the Membership dropdown to access your Account information.
Step 3:
Click the “Renew Now” button on the Account Information page or click “Renew” from the left menu.
Step 4:
Click “Renew Today” to go to the checkout page. Confirm your details and select “Complete Order” to checkout.
Your membership has been renewed for another year. Note: this 1-Year Plan will need to be manually renewed every year to continue your Gold Member benefits. You have 30 days prior to your membership expiration date to renew your membership without a lapse in benefits.
Your Disney Account is your access to everything Disney – allowing you to login to Disney websites, apps, and other experiences, as well as your D23 membership. You must have a Disney Account to be a D23 member.
When signed in to D23.com, you can also view your account information (including membership expiration date) by clicking on “My Profile” from the Membership dropdown. For Gold Members, the expiration date is also on the back of your Membership card, either the physical card or virtually in the D23 App. General memberships do not expire. Please contact GuestRelations@D23.com for additional questions about membership expiration.

HOW TO CANCEL
D23 Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable, and there are no credits or refunds for partial-year cancellations. However, you can cancel the renewal of your Membership following the steps below.

MEMBERSHIP SHIPPING
The cost to ship internationally varies and depends on the size and destination of the shipment. Your total shipping charges (U.S. dollars) will appear during the Checkout process, before payment is entered. We are unable to allow guests with billing addresses outside of the United States to ship to an address in the United States.
We are unable to ship to a PO Box location for any U.S. Territory or international address. Express Delivery is not available. Delivery to remote or rural areas may take longer than specified. Items ordered together may ship separately. Express Delivery is not available. There is no delivery on holidays. D23 can provide tracking information to the initial point of delivery only. Please contact your local USPS, PO Box location, or Military mail station for additional tracking information.
D23 EVENTS
Disney fans are everywhere, and so are D23 events! Over the past few years, we have held events all over the United States. Because of the rich Disney history in Florida and California, many events are held in these locations!
D23 offers a mix of complimentary and premium events for D23 Members. The prices for D23 Member events vary by event.
D23 Membership includes the opportunity to attend special D23 Member events—but separate event tickets must be purchased or reserved, as applicable, by the D23 Member in order to attend said events. Because some events have very limited capacities, we cannot guarantee that being a D23 Member will mean you get into each D23 Member event.
Before purchasing tickets, verify that you are logged into D23.com. After logging in, double-check the profile page on D23.com to ensure your membership information is appearing correctly. Head to the event page before tickets go on sale, and click the link to purchase tickets. Once on the event ticketing page, have all personal information ready to go! (Guests will have eight [8] minutes to complete the checkout process.)
Check event specifics, such as age and mobility requirements, to make sure all planned attendees are able to experience the event.
When ticketing information is available for an event, it will be listed on the D23 Events page. To purchase tickets, visit that event page at the date and time listed and you’ll be directed on how to purchase or reserve tickets. Ensure that you’re logged onto the ticketing purchase page with the email and password associated with your D23.com membership to view available tickets. NOTE: If you’re purchasing tickets for a D23.com event for the first time, you may receive a message on the ticketing site after logging in that asks you to verify your email address via a confirmation link. Visit your e-mail inbox (check your spam; the email will be from Disney D23 and end in “events2email.com”) and click the link to connect your D23.com account to the ticketing site.
Helpful hint: Double-check the event details before completing the checkout process! Some events are in multiple cities or have similar event titles. Once purchased, tickets are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
All guests must coordinate ticket purchasing with other D23 Members ahead of time. Be sure not to use a D23 Gold Member account in more than one tab or browser, as the system will not allow multiple authenticated sessions at one time, and you could lose your opportunity for tickets. Also be sure to have correct spelling of friends’ names and confirmed availability. In addition, make sure that multiple D23 Members do not purchase tickets for each other and create duplicative tickets for the same event. As a reminder, tickets are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
Please do not come to an event unless you are confirmed to attend. We do not have a waitlist at the door for any events. Additionally, please don’t bring more guests than noted in your confirmation, as we cannot accommodate guests without tickets.
All D23 Member-exclusive events are only open to D23 Members in good standing. You must bring your current D23 Membership card (either the physical card or virtually in the D23 Fan App) and valid photo ID in order to attend a D23 event.
New D23 Memberships typically take two to three (2–3) business days to update in the ticketing system. Please make sure you have purchased your D23 Membership at least four (4) business days prior to the event ticket on-sale date to ensure a smooth checkout.
All D23 guests will have the option to select “PRINT AT HOME” or “MOBILE” while completing the ticket checkout process. Guests will receive a confirmation email once checkout has been completed. If a guest selects “PRINT AT HOME,” the confirmation email will include a link to print the tickets. If a guest selects “MOBILE,” they will immediately receive a text message with a link to load tickets. Event ticket links will be accessible through the event day and may be redownloaded or reprinted. However, each ticket may only be scanned once at the event check-in.
PLEASE NOTE: Standard text message rates may apply to those who select “MOBILE.”
Once you’ve purchased your tickets, keep an eye on your email! All important event updates will be communicated through the email provided during the checkout process. Please pay close attention to an Event Reminder email that is typically sent a few days prior to the event; this email often contains the most up-to-date information.

All D23 Members will have eight (8) minutes to fully complete the event ticket checkout process. If tickets in your cart have not been paid for at the end of the allotted checkout window, they’ll be released and available to the next guest in line. Please have D23 Membership and payment information ready at the time of purchase.
D23 and The Walt Disney Company are not liable for technical, hardware, software, internet speed, telephone, or other transmission failures of any kind; lost or unavailable network connections; or incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions whether caused by D23, users, or by any equipment utilized in purchase or by human error which may occur in the processing of submissions and/or which may limit a participant’s ability to purchase.
All guests must provide a ticket when checking in for a D23 event. D23 Members must show their valid D23 Membership Card, either physical card or virtually in the D23 Fan App. Valid photo identification is also required. If the D23 member has purchased multiple tickets to the event, they should arrive with their guests so everyone can check in at the same time.
Due to the unique customization of our events, be sure to arrive during the listed check-in window, as our experiences will begin on time and do not allow for late arrivals.

Yes, sign language interpreting is available upon request.
