Smith, Paul (1906-1985) Composer; joined Disney in 1934. He won an Academy Award for the score of Pinocchio, along with nominations for scores of such classics as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella, Song of the South, Saludos Amigos, and The Three Caballeros. He wrote the background music for almost all of the True-Life Adventures and nearly 70 animated short subjects. He left Disney in 1962. He was named a Disney Legend posthumously in 1994.
