Perfect American, The Unauthorized opera by Philip Glass which paints an unappealing look at the last years of Walt Disney’s life, portraying him as a megalomaniac. The company denied use of the Disney characters. The opera, based on a novel by Peter Stephan Jungk, opened at the Teatro Real in Madrid, Spain, on January 22, 2013.
