Live with Regis and Kathie Lee (television) Television talk-show series; beginning September 5, 1988, in syndication. Stars Regis Philbin and Kathie Lee Gifford. The series ended on July 28, 2000 when Kathie Lee left the show; it started as Live with Regis on July 31, 2000. On February 12, 2001 Kelly Ripa joined the show, with a new title of Live with Regis and Kelly. Regis left the show in November 2011, and Kelly Ripa got a new co-host with Michael Strahan in September 2012.
