Jungle Cubs (television) Animated television series; beginning on ABC on October 5, 1996, and ending September 5, 1998. The characters from the 1967 feature are back–Baloo, Bagheera, Louie, Shere Khan, Kaa, and Hathi–but this time as youthful “jungle cubs.” They are joined by a couple of misguided, laughable buzzards, Cecil and Arthur. The cubs find the jungle an unknown place where they experience the fun–and sometimes, sadness–of growing up. Voices include Jim Cummings (Kaa), E. G. Daily (Bagheera), Jason Marsden (Shere Khan and Prince Louie), Rob Paulsen (Hathi), Pam Segall (Baloo), Michael McKean (Cecil), David Lander (Arthur). 21 episodes.
