Endurance (film) The story of distance runner Haile Gebrselassie from Ethiopia, and how he eventually won the 10,000-meter race at the Atlanta Olympics in 1996. The film combines elements of cinema vérité, traditional documentary filmmaking, sports coverage, docudrama, and feature film devices, backed by a score drawn from East African musical traditions.
