14 Going on 30 (television) Two-part television show; aired on March 6 and 13, 1988. Directed by Paul Schneider. A young teenage student, Danny, has a crush on a teacher, and, unlike most of his peers, is able to do something about it when he tests a machine, invented by his cousin, that greatly accelerates growth. But, after the test, the machine is destroyed and Danny has to remain an adult. He masquerades as the new principal in the school, changing rules to the delight of the kids. Finally the machine is fixed, leading to a surprise ending.
