Thunder Alley (television) Television series, beginning on ABC on March 9, 1994, and ending on July 25, 1995. A divorced liberal 1990s mom is raising her three children in a household headed by her father, a crusty retired stock car racer. She experiences a clash of child-rearing styles when she and her children move in with her traditionalist father, in his home above the garage where he works—his refuge since his days on the track. Stars Edward Asner (Gil Jones), Diane Venora (Bobbi Turner), Jim Beaver (Leland), Lindsay Felton (Jenny Turner), Haley Joel Osment (Harry Turner), Kelly Vint (Claudine Turner), Andrew Keegan (Jack Kelly). After eight episodes, Robin Riker took over the role of Bobbi.
