Q: One of my favorite movies is The Little Mermaid. One day I decided to Google search the movie and found the fairy-tale version of it on Wikipedia. I know that Wikipedia is not necessarily a reliable source due to the fact that anyone can change it at any time. Is the Wikipedia version the original story, and did the Disney Company loosely base the movie on that version of the story?
