It’s the rare Monday morning that starts with a “Woo-oo!” But feast your eyes on the just-revealed logo for DuckTales, which, of course, is making its eagerly anticipated debut on Disney XD in 2017. And we think you’ll agree it’s just ducky.
Your favorite Duckburg residents—Scrooge McDuck, grandnephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie, and Donald Duck will star in Disney Television Animation’s new series, which will be executive-produced by Annie Award nominee Matt Youngberg (Ben 10: Omniverse), with story editor/co-producer Francisco Angones (Disney XD’s Emmy®-nominated Wander Over Yonder) and art director Sean Jimenez (Disney XD’s Annie Award-winning Gravity Falls) rounding out the creative team.
And if that isn’t enough of a DuckTales fix to make your Monday more magical, tune into Dancing with the Stars tonight on ABC (8–10:01 p.m. EDT), where the 13 couples will be showing off some fancy footwork set to TV theme songs. Celebrity dancer/Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez and her partner, Valentin Chmerkovskiy, are dancing a jive to the DuckTales theme.
We’ll be in a “Woo-oo!” kind of mood all day.
