Debuting this week on go90, a social entertainment platform built for the mobile first generation, the 12-episode series airs weekly through the end of June.

Comic Book Girl 19—of the Maker Studios network—hosts the fast-paced, comedic variety-style show, which is a collaboration between Marvel Entertainment and Maker Studios. The show will feature celebrity guests and geek culture insiders like Method Man and Billy West (Ren & Stimpy) as well as Maker Studios talent like Commander Holly, Strawburry17, Alphacat, Comicstorian and more. In Episode 1, fans can learn about Spider-Man—aka Peter Parker—and his new career as a tech company CEO; and they’ll pick up tips on how best to navigate a local comic book shop.
“The goal in producing this series for Maker Studios and Marvel was not only to celebrate the fandom and rich history of storytelling within the Marvel Universe, but also to expose a whole new generation of fans to comic books,” Kendra Johnson, head of distribution and strategic partnerships at Maker Studios, said in a post on TheWaltDisneyCompany.com. “When we initially examined the idea from a digital-first perspective, we thought: Who better to tell these stories than the fans themselves? And what we found was a rich assortment of people from all walks of life who have long been fans.”
