If you’ve already watched Mary Poppins Returns, you saw that this delightful return to Cherry Tree Lane is full of Easter eggs and homages to the original film, from enchanting cameos to hidden tunes within the music itself! However, you might not realize that there’s another bit of Disney magic to be found in the film, and it’s a tribute to the Happiest Place on Earth.
As a nod to Disneyland, director Rob Marshall and production designer John Myhre hid some outlines of the distinct ears and head of Mickey Mouse in the set of the park where the Banks children first encounter Mary Poppins herself.
The Mickeys are hidden throughout the set and may not always be visible while you’re watching the film… but lucky for you, we have a special look at six of the hidden Mickeys!
