It may have been a Saturday, but on July 28, 2018, the Paley Center for Media in New York celebrated Freaky Friday. D23’s own Jeffrey Epstein hosted a panel featuring the cast and creative team behind the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie, premiering August 10 (8 p.m. ET), where they talked about taking the classic body-swap tale from page to stage to screen, casting the lead roles, and the exciting (and sometimes silly) challenges of playing two characters in one. The panel features Heidi Blickenstaff (“Katherine Blake”), Cozi Zuehlsdorff (“Ellie Blake”), Steve Carr (Director/Executive Producer), Susan Cartsonis (Executive Producer), and Tom Kitt (Composer).
