Today marks the 40th anniversary of The Rescuers, which followed glamorous Bianca and timid Bernard as they set out to the bayou to rescue Penny from the clutches of the despicable Madam Medusa. Audiences can see themselves in these small-but-mighty mice, who may be little compared to the rest of the world but can still put up a big fight in the interest of good.
