Xerox process Electrostatic process adapted for transferring animators’ pencil drawings to cels. It was tested in Sleeping Beauty, and used in Goliath II and One Hundred and One Dalmatians. The process was then used in practically every Disney animated film up through The Little Mermaid, after which the computer obviated the need for cels.
