Wilderness Lodge, Disney’s Resort at Walt Disney World; opened May 28, 1994. Fashioned after the fine rustic National Park hotels in the West, such as the Old Faithful Inn in Yellowstone. Guests can dine at Artist Point, Whispering Canyon Cafe, and Geyser Point Bar & Grill, and enjoy the Firerock Geyser, which erupts high in the air on a regular hourly schedule. The majestic timbered lobby rivals that of the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for its grandeur. In 2000, Disney Vacation Club accommodations were added, originally named The Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and renamed Boulder Ridge Villas in 2016. On Jul. 17, 2017, Copper Creek Villas & Cabins opened.
