Welcome to Pooh Corner (television) Show on The Disney Channel, debuting on April 18, 1983, featuring life-size puppets of the favorite Pooh characters performing in storybook settings and discovering the values of friendship, honesty, and cooperation. The puppets are what is known as “advanced puppetronics”–live performers in costumes and masks whose facial expressions are controlled by sophisticated electronic circuitry.
