Wayne Brady Show, The (television) A series featuring comedy skits and musical numbers, starring Wayne Brady. Included are special guests and improv, with audience participation. Premiered on ABC on August 8, 2001, and ended on September 19, 2001. The cast includes Brooke Dillman, Jonathan Mangum, J. P. Manoux, Missi Pyle. A new show with the same title, and being a one-hour entertainment talk/variety show, premiered in syndication on September 2, 2002, in a limited rollout to about half the country; it launched nationally on September 1, 2003, and ended May 21, 2004.
