Schmid Bros., Inc. Licensee of collectible Disney merchandise, often dated or limited edition items, beginning in 1970. Their series of Christmas plates, first sold in 1973, have become popular, with the first one bringing several hundreds of dollars. Through Hudson Pewter they also distributed a series of popular pewter figures. When the Walt Disney Classics Collection was begun in the 1990s, Schmid was chosen to handle the distribution, a relationship which continued until 1995.
