Roth, Joe He came to Disney in 1992 with a contract to produce films under the Caravan Pictures label. Roth was named chairman of the Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group in 1994 on the resignation of Jeffrey Katzenberg. In April 1996 he was named chairman of Walt Disney Studios, adding television and video production responsibilities. He left the company in January 2000.
