Old King Cole (film) Silly Symphony cartoon; released on July 29, 1933. Directed by Dave Hand. King Cole’s ball at the castle is attended by the many characters of Mother Goose, emerging from the pages of a large book. Later, problems occur in trying to get all the characters back into the book.
