My Dog, the Thief (television) Two-part television show; aired on September 21 and 28, 1969. Directed by Robert Stevenson. A helicopter traffic reporter, Jack Crandall, finds a stowaway St. Bernard, and while he is horrified, the station director and the listening audience is delighted.  After he sneaks the dog, which he names Barabbas, into his rooming house, he discovers the dog is a kleptomaniac. One of the items he steals in a valuable necklace, and the jewel thieves are now after Jack. He eventually manages to capture them and save the day.
