Special ticketed event in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World; premiered as a one-night party Oct. 31, 1995, later expanding to multiple evenings. Guests can go trick-or-treating in the park and enjoy special Halloween entertainment. Over the years, themed fireworks and the popular Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade were added. A similar event at Disneyland, Mickey’s Halloween Treat, was held 1995–96, returning in 2005 to Disney’s California Adventure; the annual party was renamed Mickey’s Trick-or-Treat Party in 2008. The event moved back to Disneyland in 2010 as Mickey’s Halloween Party.
