Legend of the Lion King, The Attraction in Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World; opened on July 8, 1994. After a pre-show featuring Rafiki and “The Circle of Life, ” costumed characters and puppets combine to present the story of The Lion King, in the theater that had originally housed the Mickey Mouse Revue. Sponsored by Kodak. It closed February 23, 2002, to make way for Mickey’s PhilharMagic. A different Legend of the Lion King show opened at Videopolis in Discoveryland at Disneyland Resort Paris on June 26, 2004.
