Ferrante, Orlando Imagineer who joined the Disney staff in 1962. Beginning with the Enchanted Tiki Room, he was involved with the installation of many Disneyland and Walt Disney World attractions. In 1966 he set up a department named PICO (Project Installation and Coordinating Office), and six years later moved into Imagineering administration. He retired in 2002 after helping with engineering, production, and installation at Disneyland Paris, Disney Cruise Line, and Tokyo DisneySea. He was named a Disney Legend in 2003.
