Doug’s 1st Movie (film) Doug Funnie, an imaginative and quirky 12 1/2-year-old, finds himself caught between saving an endangered “monster” of Lucky Duck Lake and a burning desire to take his secret crush, Patti Mayonnaise, to the school dance. Not only does he discover the mythical monster is real, and subject to an elaborate cover-up by one of Bluffington’s leading citizens, but a slick upperclassman is trying to have Patti for himself.
