Davy Crockett Museum For about a year after the park opened in 1955, Disneyland had a Davy Crockett Museum in the Davy Crockett Arcade in Frontierland. There was an Alamo exhibit including life-size wax figures of Fess Parker and Buddy Ebsen, and a historical firearm display provided by the National Rifle Association. When the museum closed, the wax figures were moved to Fort Wilderness on Tom Sawyer Island, where they remained for several decades.
