If Bill had his way, Alex would settle down with Stephen, a star lawyer at the firm who is smitten with her. Alex turns to her friends for advice, but finds she has unexpected feelings for Scott, an impulsive, renaissance man she met while trying to negotiate a deal involving his tavern.
