Christmas Star, The (television) Two-hour television movie; aired on December 14, 1986. Directed by Alan Shapiro. A boy, having a miserable holiday, comes upon an escaped convict who he thinks is Santa Claus. The convict is trying to save his robbery loot, which is hidden in an old department store planned for demolition, and he enlists the boy and his friends to help.
