Captain Cook’s Hideaway Small lounge with a mahogany-capped bar at Disney’s Polynesian Resort; opened October 1, 1971. In the early years, the Saltwater Express, later known as Stratton & Christopher, performed there. In 1993, it became Captain Cook’s Snack and Ice Cream Co., and in 2006 was remodeled into Captain Cook’s, offering sandwiches, salads, and flatbreads.
