California Screamin’ Roller coaster attraction in the Paradise Pier area of Disney California Adventure; opened February 8, 2001. At its opening, the attraction was the world’s longest steel looping roller coaster, at 6,000 feet, designed to mirror the wooden look of coasters of yesteryear but with 21st-century technology. Riders in 24-passenger cars are catapulted past splashing waves, swoop in and out of the Paradise Pier boardwalk area, and experience a 360-degree loop. This attraction closed on January 7, 2018, to be redesigned as the Incredicoaster.
