Blue Bayou Restaurant Restaurant in New Orleans Square at Disneyland; opened March 18, 1967. One of the most attractive dining areas at Disneyland, it is located inside the building that houses Pirates of the Caribbean. As guests embark in their boat on their Pirates adventure, they can look to the right and see the diners enjoying their meals in the Blue Bayou. The theming of a night sky, fireflies, and bayou sound effects provides a welcome respite on a hot day in the summer. Also in Adventureland at Tokyo Disneyland, opened on April 15, 1983. The equivalent at Disneyland Paris is the Blue Lagoon Restaurant.
