Biscuit Eater, The (film) In the backcountry of Tennessee, Lonnie McNeil, the son of a tenant farmer, tries to train a young hunting dog, Moreover, who is thought inferior because of a “bad streak” in him. Remake of a 1940 Paramount film. The dog that played Moreover was of a rare breed, a German wirehaired pointer. His real name was Rolph Von Wolfgang, and he was discovered playing with his master who was working as a tree trimmer at Disney’s Golden Oak Ranch.
