All-American College Band

All-American College Band  Program begun at Disneyland in 1971 and Walt Disney World in 1972 that allows talented college musicians from across the country to perform at one of the parks for the summer season. The name was changed to the Collegiate All-Star Band in 1998 but reverted to the original name in 2002. 2003 marked Art Bartner’s 25th year in conducting the band at Disneyland. The Walt Disney World program was cancelled after the summer of 2000, with the exception of a one-time group of five musicians in the summer of 2001.
