Adventures of Spin and Marty, The (television) Serial on the Mickey Mouse Club during the 1955-56 season, starring David Stollery and Tim Considine, about a spoiled rich kid, Marty (Stollery), who goes to a summer boys’ camp. Spin (Considine), who was the most popular kid from the previous summer, is back, and the two don’t get along because Marty so obviously hates the camp. The summer climaxes with a big rodeo, and the boys eventually end their feud. Directed by William Beaudine, Sr. Also stars Roy Barcroft, Harry Carey, Jr., Lennie Geer, J. Pat O’Malley, B. G. Norman, Tim Hartnagel, Roger Broaddus, Sammy Ogg, Sammee Tong. 25 episodes. Episodes of the serial were edited together and shown on The Disney Channel as Spin and Marty: The Movie in October 1995.
