Admiral Joe Fowler Riverboat Frontierland attraction in Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World, operated from October 2, 1971 until the fall of 1980, when it was retired from the waterways. Its sister ship, the Richard F. Irvine, remained. The Admiral Joe Fowler was named after the retired admiral who was in charge of construction of both Disneyland and Walt Disney World.
