Nichols, Charles (“Nick”) (1910-1992) Longtime animation director of shorts and television shows at the Disney Studio beginning there in 1935. He began at the Studio as an animator on the shorts, then moved up to director beginning with First Aiders in 1944. He had responsibility for most of the Pluto cartoons and he animated the coachman in Pinocchio. He left the Studio in 1962.
