Gardens of Imagination Themed area serving as the central hub of Shanghai Disneyland; opened June 16, 2016, with Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Fantasia Carousel, Meet Mickey, Marvel Universe, and Mickey’s Storybook Express Parade. Celebrating the wonders of nature and joy of imagination, the 6.9-acre area features the longest parade route in a Disney park, along with prime views of Castle entertainment and Ignite the Dream – A Nighttime Spectacular of Music and Light. The area also contains seven themed garden areas with displays and activities: Garden of the Twelve Friends, Melody Garden, Romance Garden, Woodland Garden, Garden of the Magic Feather, Fantasia Garden, and Storybook Castle Garden.
