The Walt Disney Archives has a huge year ahead. Marking 50 years of preserving the magic here at The Walt Disney Company, the Archives is hosting a yearlong celebration—with a special exhibit at the Bowers Museum, events and tours at The Walt Disney Studios lot, and more! Kicking off the magical milestone, the Archives and the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood are partnering for special El Cap Throwback screenings throughout the year.
On January 11, join the Archives for a special opening day presentation as they screen Fantasia, a Disney classic featuring the popular Mickey Mouse short The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and other memorable shorts. Before the screening, guests will be treated to an introduction by the Archives and have the chance to see an exclusive display of memorabilia from the film.
