This exclusive D23 Gold Member experience invites guests to discover the Mexico Pavilion at EPCOT like never before—through a private tequila tasting, an exclusive La Cava cocktail, a curated meal at San Angel Inn, and a selection of gifts to commemorate the experience. Join us in this unique exploration of the history, heritage, and flavors that have made the Mexico Pavilion an EPCOT icon since 1982!
The Mexico Pavilion: A Taste of History – A D23 Experience at EPCOT – 12:45 p.m. ET
*Please note: Park admission and theme park parking are not included in the event ticket. To attend the event, guests must have valid admission to EPCOT.
- La Cava Experience: A private guided tasting with Tequila Ambassador Humberto Soto of six (6) premium agave spirits—ranging from blanco to aged tequilas, plus an artisinal mezcal.
- Also includes chips and guacamole as a palate cleanser, and a keepsake “Agave Connoisseur Club” pin.
- Guests will receive a commemorative tequila cocktail glass with the La Cava Tequila logo etched by Arribas Brothers.
- La Cava del Tequila: Enjoy “The Aztec Eagle,” a D23 Member-exclusive cocktail at La Cava Tequila. This beverage, created in collaboration with the Walt Disney Archives, pays tribute to a historical moment—when Walt Disney was honored by the Mexican government with the Order of the Aztec Eagle, during a visit to Mexico City in 1943! In addition, guests will be among the first to sample the new aged in-house “Anniversary Old Fashioned,” celebrating the 17th Anniversary of La Cava del Tequila.
- Guests will receive a stainless-steel beverage sphere with an Arribas Brothers-etched “23.”
- San Angel Inn: Guests will have an unforgettable meal with a curated tasting menu made just for this event, showcasing some of the restaurant’s most beloved and traditional dishes through the years since its grand opening of EPCOT in 1982, and tracing its roots even further back to a Mexico City culinary institution. Guests will select an appetizer, main course, and dessert from the tasting menu included in the ticket, plus a San Angel Inn margarita (as served in the original San Angel Inn restaurant in Mexico City).
- To commemorate the lunch, guests will receive a replica of the original 1982 San Angel Inn menu.

DETAILS & ITINERARY
Please note: Park admission and theme park parking are not included in the event ticket. To attend the event, you must have a D23.com event ticket as well as valid park admission into EPCOT on July 14, 2026.
- 12:15 – 12:40 p.m. ET: Check-in will take place at the outside podium at la Hacienda de San Angel Restaurant, at the Mexico Pavilion at EPCOT.
- 12:45 – 2:30 p.m. ET: La Cava Experience and discussion on the history of the Mexico Pavilion.
- 2:30 – 3:15 p.m. ET: La Cava del Tequila.
- 3:15 – approx. 4:30 p.m. ET: San Angel Inn meal.
Guests must be 21 years of age or older with a valid government-issued ID to attend this event. Please notify GuestRelations@D23.com of any dietary or allergy-friendly requests at least 48 hours in advance. Day-of requests may not be accommodated.

Ticketing Terms and Conditions:
- D23 Gold Members may reserve a ticket for themselves and up to one (1) guest for this event.
- Each attendee, including the D23 Member and their guest, must possess a valid, individual event ticket to be admitted.
- Ticket quantities are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- To reserve tickets, D23 Members must log in using their valid D23 Member account credentials and assign a legal first and last name for each guest’s ticket.
- Tickets are non-transferable and must be used by the individual(s) named at the time of purchase. D23 Members and their guests over the age of 18 may be required to show a valid government-issued ID matching the name on their ticket.
Age Requirements:
- All ticket holders MUST BE 21+ with a valid government-issued ID to attend this D23 event.
Entry Requirements:
- All D23 Members must present a valid D23 Membership card (physical or digital via the D23 App) along with a valid event ticket at check-in.
- D23 Members and their guests over the age of 21 may be required to show a valid government-issued ID matching the name on their ticket.
- Failure to present a valid membership card, a corresponding ticket, and a valid government-issued ID matching the name on their ticket may result in denial of admission without refund or further obligation by D23.
Event Conduct and Restrictions:
- Unauthorized video or audio recording of any kind during the presentation is strictly prohibited.
- D23 reserves the right to deny admission or remove any individual who fails to comply with event rules, disrupts the event, or violates the terms and conditions of participation.
- Guests who are age 21+ are required to present valid government-issued photo IDs to consume alcoholic beverages.
- To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, all D23 Members and guests attending this D23 event are expected to adhere to the stated Disney rules (as applicable, and, including without limitation, with respect to Guest Courtesy Policies) found here.
Any ticketed Members or their guests who do not personally attend the event, forfeit their place, as well as all experiences, benefits, and gifts associated with the event. D23 Members must be present or guests will not gain admittance to the event.
All D23 events are subject to change without notice. All ticket sales are final. There are strictly no cancellations or refunds regardless of reason (including, without limitation, due to illness, change in travel plans, etc.) and tickets are not transferable.
