For The Walt Disney Company, animals have always been an integral part of Disney storytelling—“it was all started with a mouse” after all!— weaving the magic of imagination alongside the magic of nature. And on Earth Day in 1995, in honor of Walt Disney’s conservation legacy, the Disney Conservation Fund was born. Committed to saving wildlife, inspiring action and protecting the planet, the fund has inspired people all over the world to take action for nature in their communities. To celebrate the Disney Conservation Fund’s 25th anniversary, we pulled together some important numbers of the fund’s impact over the years.
