Snow White: The Fairest of Them All (television) A two-hour movie from Hallmark Entertainment, airing on The Wonderful World of Disney on March 17, 2002. Directed by Caroline Thompson. A gothic version of the classic tale from the Brothers Grimm. After Snow White’s mother’s death, her father, John, is granted three wishes and becomes king, though soon finds himself under the spell of Queen Elspeth, who becomes Snow White’s stepmother. The queen is obsessed with being “fairest of them all,” and is reassured by her towering hall of mirrors, until Snow White’s growing beauty surpasses her own. Stars Kristin Kreuk (Snow White), Tom Irwin (John), Miranda Richardson (Elspeth), Tyron Leitso (Prince Alfred). The Dwarfs are named after the days of the week. Originally aired on television in Israel in October 2001.
