The story of a happy people on an island paradise begins with a description of life and cultural events in the communities.  There are glimpses of fishing and local foods being prepared, and the building of a guest house (fale tele) is shown with the resulting housewarming festivities climaxed by an evening fia fia, or happy time, including ritual dances.
