Lake Buena Vista Village Opened at Walt Disney World on March 22, 1975; name later changed to Walt Disney World Village, Disney Village Marketplace, and Downtown Disney Marketplace. A couple of dozen shops are clustered in a delightful setting along the shores of the lagoon. Over the years, the list of shops has changed many times. See Downtown Disney Marketplace.
