Joerger, Fred (1913-2005) As an Imagineer from 1953 until his retirement in 1979, Fred crafted three-dimensional models for park attractions, as well as for motion pictures. He had a special knack for creating decorative rockwork out of plaster. After his retirement, he returned to Disney as field art director for the building of Epcot. He was named a Disney Legend in 2001.
