Balloon Farm (television) Two-hour movie airing on The Wonderful World of Disney on March 28, 1999. A peculiar farmer, Harvey H. Potter, arrives in the small town of Waterston where the families are facing financial ruin because of a drought. Potter’s crop turns out to be a field of brilliantly colored balloon plants. The townsfolk are entranced, seeing magical properties in the balloons, but only a little girl, Willow, stands by Potter when mistrust overtakes the town. Directed by William Dear.
