Tomlinson, David (1917-2000) Actor; appeared in Mary Poppins (George Banks), The Love Bug (Thorndyke), and Bedknobs and Broomsticks (Emelius Browne). A veteran of over 35 British films, Tomlinson had never sung on screen before making Mary Poppins. A little polishing of his fine baritone voice soon had him singing like a pro. He was named a Disney Legend posthumously in 2002.
