The spirit of Tomorrowland centers on moving forward: We seek out new ideas for the future, we imagine the next steps of humanity, and sometimes we even literally keep moving forward with the help of a classic ride system. In 1967, PeopleMover debuted at Disneyland and provided guests with the public transportation of the future, alongside a quick glimpse into some of Tomorrowland’s classic attractions. The PeopleMover has taken many forms, from a spaceport transportation center at the Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland, to a portal to the Game Grid when Disneyland’s PeopleMover transformed into PeopleMover Thru the World of Tron.
